The hot topic of conversation between my friends at the moment is; When is it going to snow?
You either love snow or you hate it! Personally, I love it. I am thrilled when I hear on the radio or the news that the snow is coming, quickly sending a text to friends to let them know what I have just heard. I am that person that when flurries of snow start to fall, the five year old in me comes out, I get excited, I go to bed, fall asleep & wake up at 5am to look out the window. I am very lucky to be conveniently located to my office & am in an industry that has snow procedures in place, so for me has only positive effects. Hence my excitable posts about the imminent weather change. If you are reading this & disagreeing, you have to agree with at least the fact that when snow lays it always seems to make our surroundings seem some what cleaner, brighter & more beautiful.... Try & embrace it. It can be a lot of fun.
The Report
As we roll steadily into November the latest on the White Christmas front from our friends down at the Christmas Weather Forecast is that we still have an above average chance of a White Christmas in both northern and southern regions. There have continued to be signs of blocking persisting in the medium term, to those like me that didn't understand that term, this increases the chance of colder than average conditions in the UK. Although there's a lot of uncertainty about how the weather will develop as we head through November in to December, there are signs of it being more favorable for cold weather than is often the case. So, keep those White Christmas dreams alive, it seems luck is on our side!!
Posts on the wintry weather will be regular, so keep checking back for further updates.
